Lent Studies

Join Pastor Jana for a Lent study based on the book “Savior: What the Bible Says About the Cross” by Magrey deVega.

  • The cross is the central symbol of the Christian faith. But what exactly did Jesus do to save us from our sins? Why was the cross necessary, and what does it mean for us today? By exploring the mystery of salvation through the cross, we can deepen our love for God and others and strengthen our commitment to follow Jesus.

  • Wednesday evenings February 21, 28, March 13, 20 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

  • If you would like to participate, or have questions, contact Pastor Jana.

Join Pastor John for a Lent study based on the Gospel of Mark.

  • Mark is the first written and shortest of the Gospels. 90% of Mark is quoted in Matthew and Luke. In terms of understanding the Gospels, Mark is the best place to start. We will spend four weeks studying the content, message and intent of Mark as he writes this gospel. We will look at specific passages that define Mark’s message of the ministry, purpose, and divinity of Jesus.

  • Wednesday evenings February 21, 28, March 6, 20 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

  • If you would like to participate, or have questions, contact Pastor John.
